This post is an Out of Character Post which explains the structure and purpose of the guild.
Statement of Purpose
The Venomhide Tribe exists to server as a casual RP guild where members interact with other guilds and tribes as though they were a tribal family. We do not claim to be better then any other guild and welcome members to join or leave as they see fit.
Structure
Guild Ranks server a mechanical purpose, in game story element ranks will be handled with add-ons like MyRolePlay, TotalRolePlay, and the like.
Cheiftan - The current Guild Master
Council Member - Close advisors to the Guild Master
Brave - Officers of the Guild
Tribesman - Full fledged members that have completed their Rite of Passage
Hatchling - Members in good standing that are working on their Rite of Passage
Initiate - New members that have decided they wish to join the guild but are not a skilled enough to start their Rite of Passage.
Hopeful - New members that are looking at the Guild and how it runs and still working to determine if they want to commit and join.
((Away)) - An Out of Character Rank for members that are gone for more then a month. All members that have not logged in for more then a month will be demoted to this rank for security purposes. Members that return will have a Officer Note put on their membership that will explain the rank that they had before they were demoted to ((Away)) status. Members that know that they will be unable to play for a while can also opt to go into this status with their character and we will note that election as well in the officer note.
Rite of Passage
There is a lot of talk about the Rite of Passage, this is somewhat cosmetic/somewhat achievement. As part of the Rite of Passage, we ask that characters complete the following quests:
1. Toxic Tolerance
2. Venomhide Eggs
3. They Grow Up So Fast
Once this is completed on one character, you will have the Feat of Strength for all characters. In the end, the ability to summon the Venomhide Ravasaur. Once you have this on one character you have it for all characters. The guild will not require you to complete the quest on each character. Instead, the guild will require that when you reach a rank that can perform the quest that you be moved to Hatchling for a period of 20 days (the fastest that you can complete the third quest) and then your character can be moved to Tribesman at your request. This allows for players to keep their characters at this rank longer if they would like for Role Play purposes.
